We offer appointments at both our hospital or your ranch. We have a veterinarian able to serve your needs and for emergencies until 7pm,  7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Our hospital is located off Pacheco Pass Highway at The Gilroy Ranch. We have an eight stall barn ,including three stalls to manage animals in need of IV fluids, a full laboratory, a surgery room where we perform minor surgeries and much much more!

The Coronavirus has already had, and will continue to have, a significant impact on our community and our daily lives. 

Tri-County Veterinary Hospital veterinarians are currently available, as always, Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 5:30pm for your animal’s medical appointments and emergency care.  We have, however, changed our on-call times to end at 7:00pm until further notice.  Horses are not able to contract and spread COVID-19, but their stall door, their halter and the other “touchable” areas of the barn are potential fomites for transmission.  We will be taking the following steps to do our part to reduce the spread of Coronavirus: 

We will not be shaking hands with clients or staff as a greeting, and we will keep a 6’ distance (as humanly possible) from all humans at the farm.
We will be wearing latex gloves to protect ourselves and your property.  Our truck and medical equipment will be wiped clean with the appropriate disinfecting products between barn visits.
If you or a member of your household are sick with respiratory symptoms, please call to reschedule your appointment.  If you have an emergency, please let us know ahead of time, and we will have trained technical help to handle your animals.
Even if you have no respiratory symptoms, and especially if you are in a high risk category for disease, it would be ideal for you to have horse (s) and/or livestock in their stalls for the appointment, and we can call you after performing our physical exam to discuss the treatment options.
Alternatively, if you would prefer to reschedule your appointment for a later date, we would be happy to accommodate that request.
